Driving Directions:
From I-5
Take the City Center/Tacoma Dome exit #133
Merge onto I-705 and follow the signs for Shuster Parkway
After you exit to Shuster Parkway, you will turn right at the light (4th Street Bridge)
After crossing the bridge, the road turns to the South again and becomes Dock Street
The Seaport is in the Balfour Dock building, which is the second building on the left
Park in the lot directly adjacent to the north end of the Balfour Dock building.

Paddle A Dragon Boat

On Sundays new paddlers are invited to join the Washington Dragon Boat Association on the water. No paddling experience is required. We provide paddles, life jackets, boats, training--and fun! Bring dry clothes and bottled water. The first 3 practices are free. Sundays, 3:30 p.m., next to the Foss Waterway Seaport on Dock Street.
No pre-registration needed. No experience required. We provide paddles, life jackets, coaching, steering, boats and FUN!
New paddlers may attend any of our practices at any locations.
Bring a change of dry clothes, comfortable shoes (tennis shoes work great) and bottled water to the practice.

Washington Dragon Boat Association (WDBA) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Tacoma, Washington. WDBA is committed to promoting local, regional, national and international amateur dragon boating participation and competition. In celebration of the cultural diversity of Washington and the Pacific Northwest, WDBA will present such other activities that foster community involvement and cross cultural awareness and understanding.
